Checked Luggage

Each passenger is entitled to a luggage (not exceeding 158 cm when adding the dimensions: height + width + length.)

Notes:
- Hahn air passengers booked with GDS under theexc H1 code Luggage allowance is 30 KG per way.
- All charges paid at the airport will be added 15% in ARN-SXF-DUS.

Over-sized luggage and special items (such as bikes, diving equipment, special packages…)

Over-sized luggage and special items are charged $50 accumulated to the excess weight fees per Kilo in case it exceed the allowance.

The following list of items are banned and restricted in your luggage:

• Flammable, non-flammable and poisonous gases, such as butane, oxygen, propane and aqualung cylinders.
• Flammable liquids and solids, such as lighter or heater fuels, paint and matches
• Poisonous substances such as insecticides, weed killers, arsenic and cyanide.
• Radioactive material, oxidizing materials and organic peroxides.
• Firearms and explosives, such as handguns, automatic weapons, munitions and ammunitions.
• Infectious substances such as bacteria and viruses.
• Corrosives such as mercury, acids, alkalis and wet-cell batteries.
• Cooking oils.
• Striking matches and cigarette lighters.
  
  

Loss of luggage policy

Should you not receive your luggage upon arrival, please report it immediately to the ground handling services office (lost and found office) at the arrival hall. An official Claim (Property Irregularity Report or PIR) must be completed.

If you were flying on Wings of Lebanon, please send us the following documents to allow the start of the investigation:

• Claim (Property Irregularity Report)
• luggage Tag
• Passport Copy
• Boarding Pass

Important: Failing to receive any of the above documents, we will be unable to proceed with the search of your luggage.

We will do our best to find your luggage during a maximum investigation period of 60 days. Once the luggage is found, we will contact you to inform you of the collection procedure. You can always call us at 01-396 222/ 01-389 389 or email us at [email protected] / [email protected] to obtain more information.

In the unfortunate event that the luggage is not found during the period, we will contact you to inform you about the next steps. Note that per international regulations, the passenger is reimbursed $20 per kilo (or the equivalent) up to a maximum of 20 kg per luggage.

Please be advised that we are not liable for damaged luggage and its content.

Note: If you booked with us and traveled on any airline other than Wings of Lebanon, please contact the lost and found office of the respective airline.
